Usually the first five or six\u00a0gray hairs<\/a> are located at the edges of the scalp. They are rarely scattered throughout the hair \u00a0- to overcome this problem, there are several handy solutions.<\/p>

First option: shampoos designed for colour-treated hair<\/span> <\/h2>

The aim:<\/strong> To cover your few gray hairs without touching your natural colour.
Benefits:<\/strong> Use products that are specially designed to protect your hair colour. They are great for adding shine, giving body to fine hair and accentuating natural highlights<\/a>.
Try this option first, if you do not see results after 5 or 6 days - see your hairdresser to talk about future possibilities.<\/p>

<\/span> <\/h2>

Second option: the semi-permanent colour<\/span> <\/h2>

The aim:<\/strong> To give your hair a lift without a radical change. It can look very natural and is easy to maintain.
Benefits:<\/strong> You can apply the colour all over your hair or only in certain desired areas. This option fades gradually - so your natural roots will grow through eventually.
Go to the hairdresser\u00a0after about twenty-five shampoos. If you enjoyed the result, you can switch to a permanent colour.<\/p>

Third option: Scan your hair<\/span> <\/h2>

The aim:<\/strong> To jump at the chance of lightening or darkening your colour<\/a>. For this step, your colourist will make a light scanning of your hair.<\/p>

Benefits:<\/strong>\u00a0White hair will be covered and you'll be given a shiny new do.<\/p>

Go to the hairdresser every five to six months to touch up your roots.<\/p>

Fourth option: permanent dyeing<\/span> <\/h2>

Your desire:<\/strong> Change everything - why not! After the scan, you want to change your hair colour <\/a>and forget about your white tresses for several\u00a0months.
Benefits:<\/strong> Peace for several weeks - provided that the colour is not too far away your natural hair colour.
Go to the hairdresser a month after the dyeing is done if you see your roots growing through.<\/p>
