There's even a name for this conspiracy, Murphy's Law, which basically says, 'anything that can go wrong will go wrong'. Clearly, there's no escape.<\/p> <p>So to save us and you from some potential embarrassment,\u00a0we collated 10 common fashion <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/beauty\/beauty-sos\/5-beauty-hacks-straight-pantry-35385.html\">hacks to help you<\/a> deal with any malfunctions or simply to solve little fashion niggles - from tight shoes, blisters to torn hems.<\/p>  <h2> <span>Vaseline for blisters<\/span> <\/h2> <p>Instead of brandishing your feet with unsightly band-aids, slap on a thin film of vaseline and you'll be good to go. Blisters be gone.<\/p> <h2> <span>Candle wax to make zippers slide easily<\/span> <\/h2> <p>Rub a candle up and down the teeth on both sides of your stuck zipper. The candle wax from the candle will aid the\u00a0zipper to glide back into place.\u00a0<\/p> <h2> <span>Chalk to hide stains<\/span> <\/h2> <p>Use chalk to hide stains but bear in that this works best for rough fabrics or fabrics white in colour. So silks are a no go.<\/p> <h2> <span>Double sided tape to fix torn hems<\/span> <\/h2> <p>Whenever you hems snag on something, rip and start to flap in an unsightly manner, whip out some good ol' double sided tape from your office or any stationary store. It may not hold up as good as a thread and needle but it does the job temporarily.<\/p> <h2> <span>Roll your sleeves up with thin elastics<\/span> <\/h2> <p>If you fancy wearing shirts with perfectly cuffed sleeves, then keep those sleeves rolled up all day by placing a thin elastic around the sleeve and push\u00a0upwards with the elastic. \u00a0You won't have to touch your sleeves again.<\/p> <h2> <span>Baby wipes to remove deodorant marks<\/span> <\/h2> <p>Remove pesky deodorant marks with few rubs of a baby wipe.<\/p> <h2> <span>Beeswax to waterproof canvas shoes<\/span> <\/h2> <p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/fashion\/trends-and-tips\/accessory-trend-slip-shoes-37061.html\">Canvas shoes<\/a> are ideal for skipping about town during errand days but when the skies threaten to wreak havoc on your by way of thunderous rainfall, then your shoes along with your feet are bound to get soaked. To prevent that, waterproof your shoes by rubbing the surface with beeswax and set it with a hairdryer.<\/p> <h2> <span>White wine to remove red wine stains<\/span> <\/h2> <p>This one's easy. As much as red wine stains tend to be a sticky situation, simply take a cloth soaked in white wine to gentle blot on the stain.
