All fashion weeks come with their fair share of twists and mini-scandals, but recently there was a mini tremble\u00a0that essentially shook the world of fashion.<\/p>

The French <\/a>designer, Jean Paul Gaultier made \u200b\u200bthe choice to stop all ready-to-wear collections for men and women and to devote himself fully to his haute couture<\/a> and perfume line<\/a>.<\/p>

It seems as though the sheer workload and minimal timeline involved to produce collections after collections motivated the designer's decision to refocus his creative energy, as he confided to Women's Wear Daily: \"For some time, I found a real fulfillment in haute couture which allows me to express my creativity and taste for research and experimentation... The commercial constraints and the frantic pace of collections leave neither liberty nor time to explore fresh ideas and innovation.\"<\/p>

Since the creation of his house in 1976, Jean Paul Gaultier has been the ambassador of chic and turbulent fashion. He picked up on influences from the street by noticing the styles that were flaunted\u00a0along the sidewalks. Gaultier delivered various shocks in the fashion world - from the insolent cone bra that Madonna boldly showed off<\/a>, men parading in skirts, punk glam to the now classic perfume bottle with a bust and to involving models of all ages and styles in his shows. These ideas far exceeded the small microcosms of fashion and spoke to us all.<\/p>

Now, all we can do is wait for September 27, where we, together with the entire fashion world will watch with excitement as Jean Paul Gaultier unveils his final ready-to-wear collection in Paris<\/a> - it's bound to be relished with\u00a0a bit of scandal and plenty of entertainment.<\/p>
