Whenever we speak of Penhaligon's<\/a>, images of a brilliantly decorated store that houses a myriad of enchanting scents<\/a> spring to mind. And the image is entirely accurate of the 200 odd year-old British brand - they are revered for their keen sense of smell as they continually offer a treasure trove of truly captivating fragrances.<\/p>

However, fragrances was not all because back in the 1860s, when the perfumery came to being, Penhaligon's<\/strong> was also a barber shop along Jermyn Street in London that catered to the grooming needs of the true dandies. Hence, it is only befitting that now the iconic brand launched its first ever comprehensive men's grooming range that is infused with\u00a0a reformulated signature scent - the zesty and invigorating, Bayolea<\/strong>.<\/p>

Comprising of a total of 15 products, the Bayolea product line seeks to cater to every aspect of men's grooming<\/a>, from facial wash to shaving essentials and of course to a fine spritz of an Eau de Toilette. Speaking of fragrances, to many, a typical men's cologne is a rich cocktail of musk or is\u00a0heavily woodsy<\/a> and that is where the Bayolea range serves up\u00a0a refreshing twist.<\/p>

Upon the initial whiff,\u00a0Bayolea opens with zesty\u00a0notes of mandarin and lemongrass, thereafter giving way to an intoxicating\u00a0heart of cardamom, black pepper and lavender, and finally resting on a rather extensive base of cedar, sandalwood, musk,\u00a0patchouli and amber. Personally, the fragrance is a far cry from a classic cologne thanks to its contrasting\u00a0blend\u00a0of zest with spicy and woody elements - in fact, we might just adopt the heady mix to our fragrance\u00a0carousel<\/a> as well. Sorry boys.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>

Lastly, to celebrate the launch, Penhaligon\u2019s Singapore is collaborating with local barber shop, Sultans of Shave<\/a>, to offer a special Bayolea experience using products from the Bayolea grooming range\u00a0at their store.<\/p>
