While the problem typically arises from some types of milk products, this debate around dairy products convinces many people to stop eating <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/health\/healthy-practices\/essential-oils-probiotics-allies-your-belly-to-flat-29516.html#post-29516\">yogurt<\/a>\u00a0and cheese entirely as well. In fact, people should not avoid yogurt or cheese because they contain little lactose, even not at all. And according to Nicolas Mathieu, hepato-gastroenterologist, most of us are able to tolerate 12g of lactose on a daily basis, or approximately 240 ml of milk. \"Dairy products are our best source of calcium, essential to prevent osteoporosis, even in adulthood. Every day, we eliminate calcium that then must be replaced \", stresses dietitian B\u00e9atrice de Reynal.<\/p> <p>As for cheese, some are low\u00a0in lactose and not too calorific (Camembert, Brie, Munster). We suggest having\u00a0one to two portions of cheese per day (30 to 60 g) plus one portion of yogurt.
