It looks like charities and health groups have found a new and very effective way\u00a0to\u00a0raise awareness for\u00a0worthy causes. After the Ice Bucket Challenge<\/a>, here comes the Feeling Nuts Challenge! The idea:<\/strong> to grab\u00a0the genitals, take a photo and nominate three others to do the same. The goal:<\/strong> to raise awareness<\/a> of testicular cancer and encourage men to self-examine to check that everything is normal. Indeed, when caught at early stages, testicular cancer has great\u00a0chances of\u00a0being treated. Hence the importance of screening.<\/p>

FEELING NUTS, ICE BUCKET ... Do these CAMPAIGNS WORK?<\/span> <\/h2>

With\u00a0thousands of videos posted on the web,\u00a0The Ice Bucket Challenge\u00a0was\u00a0undoubtedly a success. But for whom exactly? For the stars who took part\u00a0and made \u200b\u200bthe buzz, no doubt. For the association behind the campaign as well, since 3 million donors have signed a check for a total of more than $100 million (against only 3 million the previous year). Feeling Nuts may well go the same way, because currently already more than 6 million photos are circulating on the web via the hashtag #FeelingNuts<\/strong>. Not to mention the fact that people have\u00a0to nominate others, hence increasing the public interest. We have no\u00a0doubt that other associations will easily find ideas for\u00a0other challenges (should they be so stupid, that is the question...), but does it just blur the message<\/a>?<\/p>

In fact, do you remember more the name of the disease causing the Ice Bucket Challenge or video of Ronaldo in his underwear? Do you think people are really going to inspect their testicles once a month or it's just about who is ballsy and who is not? Here, we have some doubts...<\/p>
