The MTV<\/a> Video Music Awards just about wrapped up this year at the Forum in Inglewood, California. And as always, events with a red carpet attract us like moth to a flame, eager to pick apart sartorial choices that were\u00a0supposedly\u00a0made with pride - or through a stylist's<\/a> dire mistake.<\/p>

The fashion at the annual VMAs have been notorious for being questionable to say the least. This year, we thought maybe, just maybe, things will be different - we were being highly optimistic because shouldn't celebrities learn from follies\u00a0of the past?<\/p>

Well, clearly not. At first sight, we scrolled through a series of done and dusted ensembles but then we came to some remarkable looks that did more than just widen our eyes and drop our jaws as we took several double takes. Several.<\/p>
