Everyone has a scent that appeals to their olfactory senses and then are there scents that whisk us away to a whole \u00a0new environment, leaving reality behind - at least for a bit.<\/p>

Well, to many's delight, Aesop<\/strong>\u00a0will be relaunching a new variation of its iconic Marrakech<\/strong> fragrance that was created in 2005. Now almost\u00a0a decade later, the Australian botanical brand<\/a> tweaked\u00a0the original spicy fragrance to offer another unique interpretation of the essence\u00a0of Morocco.<\/p>

Created in collaboration with revered French perfumer, Barnab\u00e9 Fillion<\/strong>, Marrakech Intense<\/strong> offers a sophisticated yet raw\u00a0mix that fills the air through\u00a0the juxtaposition\u00a0of a musky\u00a0oriental wood blend and the softness of floral top notes.<\/p>

Fillion, who\u00a0has similarly collaborated with Le Labo, Paul Smith and Von Sono\u00a0creates scents<\/a> that are particularly beguiling and translate to very specific memories.<\/p>

Fillion explains:<\/strong>\u00a0\u2018Egyptian Jasmine absolute imbues the fragrance with sensuality and links the spice elements. The Bergamot\u2019s brilliance is extended while ensuring it blends well with the Neroli top note and the effect of the Jasmine petals. Together, these three components secure the top notes\u2019 freshness. Marrakech Intense can be seen as an innovation in the tradition of Aesop.\u2019<\/p>

Still staying true to tradition, the unisex fragrance is housed in a quintessential apothecary styled bottle to beautifully encapsulates the charming and fuss-free\u00a0nature of Aesop's ethos<\/a>.<\/p>

Aesop Marrakech Intense<\/strong> will be available from September as a Eau de Toilette (50ml, approx. USD84)\u00a0and Parfum roll-on (10ml, approx. USD101) at all Aesop stores<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>
