Similarly, the fashion industry is no stranger to the world of countless applications. From media moguls creating digital versions to ecommerce sites which have made shopping<\/a> a mere swipe on the phone - literally every part of fashion and style has now been made easier with an app.<\/p>

More specifically, there are now several apps available that seek to make personal styling and shopping a wholesome and inspirational process. Here are 5 of our favourite fashion apps that we are constantly checking, day in day out.<\/p>

Cloth<\/span> <\/h2>

For those who do not fancy posting outfit of the day (OOTD<\/a>) pictures on Instagram or blogs for the whole\u00a0world to see can unleash their creative style in a personal archive with Cloth<\/strong>.<\/p>

All you need to do with this app is take a picture of your outfit, upload it onto Cloth where it'll be stored. You may even add notes to mention compliments received or your thoughts on the look. Additionally, it allows you to categorise outfits according to occasions like, \u2018work\u2019<\/a>, \u2018evening\u2019, \u2018vacation\u2019 or \u2018everyday\u2019, thus making it easy to search for looks whenever a similar occasion pops up.<\/p>

Pose<\/span> <\/h2>

The real reason some of us check the weather is to determine our outfit for the day. Pose<\/strong> is an app that checks your location, determines the local weather forecast and updates the inspiration section with looks accordingly. You may even narrow the search further based on occasions.<\/p>

Pose is available on\u00a0Android<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0iOS<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>

Stylebook<\/span> <\/h2>

Stylebook<\/strong> seeks to document every article of clothing in your wardrobe. It also allows you to lay out an outfit in a collage, create packing lists and create a calendar of outfits that you plan to wear. Essentially, shopping becomes far more efficient because with the app you can ascertain if you already own a particular item before accidentally dropping money on it, again.<\/p>

While the initial uploading of images may be tiresome, especially if your wardrobe is huge, but the effort will be worth it and soon enough, you\u2019ll be giving your clothes the screen time they desire.<\/p>

Stylebook is available on iOS<\/a>. Mix Me is a similar app on Android<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>

ASAP54<\/span> <\/h2>

With the slew of street style images these days, inspiration is plentiful but information on the individual look is largely limited. Sometimes you absolutely desire a skirt or dress that you see but have no way of finding out where it\u2019s from. With ASAP54<\/strong> and its reverse photo search technology, now finding the object of your desire is a mere few taps away.<\/p>

All you have to do is snap a picture of what you see in person or upload a picture and allow the app to do the rest.<\/p>

Lou<\/span> <\/h2>

Sifting through timelines of fashion images on Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr can become quite tiresome and it definitely wouldn\u2019t take much to fall behind (especially if you\u2019re following various individuals in the fashion industry).<\/p>

What would be better though is to have all of that fashion inspiration<\/a> on one single platform and Lou<\/strong> does exactly that. By aggregating content from influencers in the fashion industry \u00ad\u2013 designers to bloggers to photographers \u2013 the app sorts everything into a massive 150 different channels of inspiration.<\/p>

With Lou, it\u2019d also be easier to curate your personal mood boards as you swipe across streams of content. Easy peasy.<\/p>
