More often than not, a whole slew of beauty solutions are lying around idly in your house, waiting to be utilised in more ways than one. So instead of splurging copious amounts of money on fancy beauty products, here are just some quick beauty hacks that are easy and light on your wallet.<\/p>

Apple Cider Vinegar<\/span> <\/h2>

If you do not yet own a bottle of apple cider vinegar in your homes then it\u2019s almost mandatory that you rush out to the store now before reading on.<\/p>

As a purifying agent that also acts as an astringent, you can use apple cider vinegar as a toner for your skin and even to\u00a0fight blemishes<\/a> if you\u2019re prone to acne. Not convinced? Well, Scarlett Johansson swears by this natural ingredient to keep her skin clear, that is all.<\/em><\/p>

Coconut oil<\/span> <\/h2>

Coconut oil works best as a highly nourishing and moisturizing product. Hence, we suggest using it all over your body<\/a> as a natural body lotion after a shower. Thanks to the fatty acids, your skin will feel instantly smoother after you have slathered it on.<\/p>

Also, since makeup removers<\/a> typically contain oils, you could soak a cotton swab with coconut oil and remove any eye makeup and at the same time condition your lashes further.<\/p>

Cold green tea bags<\/span> <\/h2>

Take a cold caffeine-based product such as green tea bags and place it as a cold compress under (or over) your eyes for 5 minutes. Body wash and raw brown sugar<\/span> <\/h2>

Run out of body scrub and in dire need of an exfoliation? Simply take your favourite body wash and mix it with raw brown sugar for a good scrub. If the sugar particles are too coarse and hence too harsh for your skin, then mix in a little coconut oil or honey to reduce the abrasion.<\/p>

There's a beauty hack for yellowed nails though and that is to indulge in a lemon juice bath. Fill a bowl with lemon juice and allow your stained nails to soak for 10 minutes. After which gently buff your nails with a toothbrush and watch the stains slowly fade into oblivion. You may need to repeat the process 2 times a day, depending on how long the stains have been there.<\/p>
