watch the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/lifelove\/entertainment-lifelove\/world-cup-hotties-27183.html\">FIFA World Cup 2014<\/a>\u00a0as well \u2013 that is if you plan on watching the matches on the couch.<\/p> <p>Apart from costing a decent amount to get a\u00a0cable subscription, watching\u00a0the games\u00a0at home lacks the spirit needed to fully enjoy this experience.\u00a0What we need is\u00a0an environment of palpable energy created by the cheers and grunts of fellow <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/lifelove\/entertainment-lifelove\/fifa-2014-ads-27692.html#post-27692\">football fans<\/a>, along with the added incentive of very decently (for Singapore standards) priced pints, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/food\/penfolds-celebrates-170-years-winemaking-20300.html#post-20300\">house pours<\/a> and finger food.<\/p> <p>That's exactly why we have spent the last few days, scouring the streets in the wee hours for the ideal spots to sit back, get pumped up and knock back a beer or two with friends and cheer your favourite countries
