Milan).\u00a0A few decades and a sexual revolution<\/a> later, this\u00a0woman\u00a0has even been \u201cCindyLauperised\u201d \u2013 she wants some fun too!\u00a0Now her weapon certainly is used for power, but also for pleasure.<\/p>

Catherine Tramell, the ambiguous heroine in Basic Instinct<\/em>, encapsulated by Sharon Stone<\/strong>, does proves this exact point.\u00a0She embodies a superwoman fantasy \u201cwho literally brings men to their knees<\/a>,\u201d says Katia Denard, thereby avenging all her counterparts.\u00a0This femme fatale also does not hesitate to blame all wrongdoings on the males, in as concrete a manner as Sigourney Weaver in Working Girl<\/em>, who holds a senior position in finance.<\/p>

Or more symbolically, \u201cCatherine Tramell kills men with an ice pick, an object that can be seen as an extension of the phallus,\u201d Katia Denard maliciously notes. In the office<\/a> or in bed, the bitch commands, and the spectators want more.<\/p>
