To express that something is very expensive, people may say sometimes :\"it costs an arm and a leg\". A few days ago, we noticed that this idiom is used almost literally by a Portuguese Pop-up shop.<\/p>

Yes, the Fox Portugal team in partnership with the Portuguese National Blood Bank has impressed us with a far-fetched idea to promote the launch of the fourth season of The Walking Dead<\/strong> show. They have set up a pop-up shop<\/a> that sells Walking Dead Merchandise and the only way to get your walking dead products, is to pay - with your blood!<\/p>

Can you imagine? To get your Walking Dead- printed t-shirt, Converse<\/a> and so on, you have to stick out your arm to the cashier to let him draw your blood. The more blood you give, the more products you get.<\/p>

All that we can say is that this unusual promotion method is completely in keeping with the theme of the show, which is well-known for its high level of gore. What's more, thanks to this surprising Walking Dead promotion, blood donations have increased by a staggering 571% in comparison with the previous year and among donors, 67% of them gave their blood for the first time.<\/p>

The store was so successful that additional locations are set to come to Spain, the Netherlands, Turkey, Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, and the United States!<\/p>
