Take 10-15g per day. <strong>For a brew:<\/strong>\u00a015g of dried longans, 5 red dates 5, 15g raisins in 300 ml of water.\u00a0Keep at a gentle boil for 20 minutes, strain and enjoy. This brew may also be available ready-made at herbal and traditional Chinese medicine stores.<\/p>  <p><strong>Oyster:<\/strong><\/p> <p>\u201cIn traditional Chinese medicine, the heart rules over one\u2019s mental and emotional life. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/health\/healthy-practices\/up-the-zinc-intake-to-up-your-immunity-7201.html#post-7201\">Oyster<\/a>\u00a0is an excellent tonic for the \u201cheart blood\u201d, deficiency of which causes mental agitation and insomnia,\u201d said Philippe Sionneau.\u00a0He suggests treating this with 4 oysters per day, for 15 days.\u00a0Rich in omega 3 antidepressants, packed with vitamin B for good mood, and zinc and selenium immune-stimulants, oysters have an excellent reputation all over the world.<\/p>  <p><strong>Oregano:<\/strong><\/p> <p>\u201cIt is a tonic for the nervous system, but becomes a sedative after 8-10 days of treatment,\u201d says Guy Fuinel.\u00a0<strong>For an infusion:<\/strong>\u00a0one tablespoon of flower heads (or in dried form) per cup of boiling water.\u00a0Allow it to steep for 10 minutes, then strain.<\/p>  <p><strong>Dark chocolate:<\/strong><\/p> <p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/food\/recipes-and-products\/chocolate-cigar-peanut-ice-cream-and-blue-belle-potatoes-10649.html#post-10649\">Chocolate, especially dark<\/a>, is an accelerator of good moods.\u00a0It contains <em>theobromine<\/em> (which has psycho-stimulant effects), tryptophan, and amino acids needed to manufacture serotonin (substance\u00a0that makes us feel a sense of well-being), as well as <em>phenylethylamine<\/em>, a natural hormone in our brain that raises the concentration of endorphins (a natural morphine that we secrete) in our systems.\u00a0It even results in the effect of being high, because it contains a bit of <em>anandamide<\/em>, a substance with euphoric effects also present in cannabis.<\/p>  <p><strong>Orange Blossom:<\/strong><\/p> <p>Soothing, it treats emotional troubles.\u00a0So as not to affect its healing properties, allow a little to infuse in simmering water.\u00a0Consume 1-3g per day.\u00a0<strong>For L ebanese white coffee:<\/strong>\u00a0add one tablespoon of orange blossom water in a cup of very hot water before bedtime.\u00a0You can sweeten with honey, and dilute with milk.<\/p>  <p><strong>Oatmeal:<\/strong><\/p> <p>Packed with vitamin B1, thiamine, riboflavin (or vitamin B2, which plays a role in the metabolism of energy in cells), iron, zinc and soluble fibres, oatmeal soothes stress and calms cravings.\u00a0With the stomach settled, the smile follows naturally...<\/p>  <p><strong>Foie gras:<\/strong><\/p> <p>Vitamin B9, or folic acid, is the substance of happiness.\u00a0It regulates sleep and appetite, acts on the nervous system and the health of our red blood cells.\u00a0With 566 micrograms per 100 g*, foie gras contains ten to fifteen times more folic acid than meat or fish.\u00a0Our daily requirement is 300 micrograms, so just a small slice will suffice (though it may be difficult to stop yourself...).<\/p>   <p><em>By Martine
