How do I do it?<\/strong><\/p> <p>Dr. Philippe Blanchemaison (vascular physician) answers:<\/p> <p>\"We must first classify and differentiate big knees:\u00a0The \"water knees\" swell late in the day or during hormonal changes. The \"fat knees\" are stable.<\/p>  <p><strong><br \/>  In the case of localised fat:<\/strong><\/p> <p><strong>1. Massage + <a title=\"Crabtree &amp; Evelyn Hand Therapy: Your scent based on your style icon!\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/crabtree-evelyn\/\">cream<\/a>:<\/strong> At home or in a salon, massage the knees hard with creams or balms rich in caffeine to dislodge fat. Effective, but slow.<\/p> <p><strong>2. The Cryolipolysis:<\/strong> The cooling probes crystallize small fatty deposits and eliminate about 20% of fat cells per session. Effective, but expensive (minimum USD200 per session).<\/p> <p><strong>3. Liposuction:<\/strong> Micro-cannulas aspire fat. Effective, but not definitive.<\/p> <p><strong>+ On the plate:<\/strong> Limit industrial sugar, cooked and saturated fats, as well as all food containing trans-fats. Eat as healthy as possible, especially <a title=\"Nutrition: What if I do not like eating fruits and vegetables?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/nutrition-what-if-i-do-not-like-eating-fruits-and-vegetables\/\">fresh and seasonal produce<\/a>.<\/p>  <p><strong><br \/>  In the case of water retention\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p> <p><strong>1. Manual lymphatic drainage:<\/strong> Done by a professional or at home, it facilitates the removal of excess water. Note: at home, stimulate the lymph nodes (located in the groin and knee) before massaging the knees for better results. Effective, but only as a very short term solution.<\/p> <p><strong>2. The Cellu M6 and pressure therapy:<\/strong>\u00a0Two pro techniques to help eliminate excess water. It provides a cure, ranging from 1 to 12 sessions (between USD40 and USD70 per session) and a small budget too.
