Up on the 46th<\/sup> floor of one of the most prestigious buildings in Jakarta, Altitude offers multiple dining options. One of them with some romantic seatings facing the million dollar Hotel Indonesia Roundabout \u2013 better known as \u201cBundaran HI\u201d \u2013 and its mighty fountain is Salt Grill<\/a> by Australian celebrity chef Luke Mangan.<\/p>

First, this is not just a \u201cstyle over substance\u201d restaurant. Service \u2013 from making reservation, reception, to table waiting \u2013 is done in friendly, speedy, capable, and effective manner. While the place looks gorgeous, atmosphere is quite casual, and nothing feels uptight.<\/p>

The food is Mod Oz \u2013 modern Australian \u2013 that puts a wide variety of cooking styles in a combined technique to present a fusion menu that is still easy to understand, digest, and enjoy. The sophistication lies in its simplicity, fresh produce, and unique ingredients.<\/p>

The grill section includes Campbell grass-fed tenderloin, Moroccan-spiced sirloin, free range baby chicken, and 150 daygrain fed wagyu ribeye. For white meat, don\u2019t miss the luscious Tasmanian salmon that comes with yabbie tails, vanilla, and chervil dressing. The baked barramundi smells and tastes very fresh, and served with olives and preserved lemon. Slow cooked Kurobuta pork belly bathed in red wine sauce is everybody\u2019s favorite.<\/p>

Portions are generous. There are also Salt Bush lamb, rib eye, fish, and char grilled chicken for sharing. Tapas available for light biters, ranging from pork and pistachio terrine, duck sliders, king fish with avocado mousse, to chicken liver parfait. Meanwhile, connoisseurs can go for the six-courses degustation option with wine pairing.<\/p>

The taste is excellent, the view is by far the best in the city, and the service is flawless. Salt Grill at Altitude<\/a> is great dine out option be it for romantic or social functions, or to stylishly impress business partners.<\/p>
