This big blue marble of ours has a plethora of global groups that are just bursting with inspiration waiting to be manifested.\u00a0 And so they were at the Spring\/Summer 2014 runways<\/a>. With hitters like Givenchy <\/a>setting the tone by using prints from the multitude of cultures around the world - have been almost quintessential to a successful collection. Using prints that symbolize a community has a bevy of relevance, compared to just the trivial variations in size or cut.<\/p>

From the African mash-up courtesy of Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy, to the Victorian wares of Alexander Mcqueen <\/a>by Sarah Burton, designers get into their element as they experiment and explore what has already endured the test of time.\u00a0 Every model strutted down the runway, walking to the beat of their designer drums.<\/p>

How to wear the trend?<\/strong><\/p>

Going global with your dressing requires a little but more ingenuity, which is why you\u2019ll need to get the look perfectly down to a T.<\/p>

Keep close to the cultural onset by making sure you team up your ensemble pieces with garments that actually follow their cultural color palette.<\/p>

Go as graphic as possible; with pieces like this, strong aesthetics are what evokes the emotions.<\/p>

Be careful when trying to merge two divergent patterns that don\u2019t originate from the same place, you don\u2019t want to end up looking like a fruit salad.<\/p>

Lastly, be sure to make a statement and be bold with your choices . Whether you\u2019re sporting Scottish plaid or introducing Indonesian batik into your wardrobe, wear them gracefully like the priceless regalia they are.<\/p>
