Oz Go<\/strong><\/p>

If Visions & Trends aimed to showcase experimental and modern pieces in terms of concepts, materials, and construction then Oz Go<\/strong>\u00a0has delivered.<\/p>

Entitled Krypton<\/em>, the collection was inspired by the emotional roller-coaster that a person experiences when falling in love. This inspiration transpired into clothes that were in pastel and neutral colours - sweet sentiments. The grey accents; either as a patch or print, added sombre mood.<\/p>

There were also hints of exploration in the clothes' fabrication - sleeves were tweaked in some looks, portion of a skirt or a dress in the front were given modest modification, a nice touch of metallic ornamentation were present in some garments as well. Fabrics used were textured upholstery, crepe, satin and rami. A mixture of these was done in some looks but was put together subtly. The designer closed his 10-piece collection with a men's suit in a bright shade of blue.<\/p>

Oz had been designing for five years now. He graduated from Fashion Institute of the Philippines.<\/p>

Veejay Floresca<\/strong><\/p>

Last season at the Luxewear show, Veejay Floresca<\/strong> sent out models in wigs wearing shimmery and shining clothes. From the looks of it, the collection was heavily influenced by 80's; disco, fun, and colours all over. This season however, models with caps paraded in light and muted colours. The emphasis was on sportswear. Despite being totally different, both collections deserve commendation.<\/p>

Veejay created pieces that exude comfort with a chic vibe which he envisioned for women who have an active lifestyle. Variations in cuts and styles were seen; from hooded vest with pockets, and cropped button-down long sleeves, to disproportioned bottom garment. Looks were accessorised with either or a combination of denim caps, aviator sunglasses and leather belts; making the styling minimal and refined. Layering added another dimension without disrupting the simplicity and functionality of the looks.<\/p>

The collection definitely has commercial appeal; practical and wearable but never bland.<\/p>

Veejay is currently a student of Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California.<\/p>
