We\u2019re talking about the fashion fever that will grip Asia in October, starting from the little red dot, all the way to Tokyo<\/a>, Jakarta<\/a>, Seoul <\/a>and back to Singapore for Digital Fashion Week<\/a> in November.<\/p>

In Asia, where fashion weeks are always on the rise, you\u2019re excused if you get a little confused, so here we introduce you to the 6 \u2018W\u2019s of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands Fashion Week 2013<\/a><\/p>

What<\/strong><\/span> <\/h2>

A world class Fashion event, organised and run by FID\u00e9 Fashion Weeks<\/a>.<\/p>

This event has been growing season on season and will now be run as the 6th<\/sup> installment of the series \u2013 with a twist.<\/p>

Unlike its previous installations which were mainly deigned to show either men\u2019s, women\u2019s or couture creations \u2013 This Fashion Week will showcase everything \u00a0from Parisian Haute Couture designers to Asian designers, pr\u00eat-a-porter for men and women and even emerging talents.<\/p>

In the previous years, the FID\u00e9 Fashion Week attracted none other than internationally acclaimed Japanese Designer Kenzo and even high society and royals, such as Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco.<\/p>

Who & Why<\/strong><\/span> <\/h2>

With a full showcase of over 30 exciting presentations, there are plenty of well established designers, comeback houses from last year\u2019s show and a wide range of international and regional representations. So really, there is something for everyone.<\/p>

\"alexis-mabille\"<\/span><\/a>\u00a0The fashion season will open with international pr\u00eat-a-porter labels (all of which are housed at Marina Bay Sands, The Shoppes so we\u2019ll surely be tempted to shop after the shows!) and will be appearing as part of nine Featured Shows. These include brands such as Porsche Design<\/a>, Anne Fontaine<\/a>, Bread&Butter<\/a>, Pierre Balmain<\/a> and more...<\/p>

Following that and starting on October the 13th<\/sup>, couture shows will begin with dedicated days for Asian couturiers including Michael Cinc<\/a>o from The Philippines, Guo Pei<\/a> from China, Lie Sang Bong<\/a> from Korea and Yumi Katsura<\/a> from Japan\u2013 followed by a French-themed day featuring Julien Fourni\u00e9<\/a>, On Aura Tout Vu<\/a>, Alexis Mabille<\/a> and a showcase of emerging French designers from Atelier Chardon Savard.<\/p>

Saving the best for last \u2013 the final day will show the only designer from the host country Singapore\u00a0Frederick Lee<\/a> and the collaboration between French couturier Julien Fourni\u00e9 and the popular online shop Love Bonito<\/a>, who will reveal their collection at the finale show.<\/p>
