Photo \u00a9Benjamin Boccas\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2013\/06\/OlivierLebrun-400.jpg\" width=\"187\" height=\"280\" \/><\/span><\/a><\/p> <p><strong>Olivier Lebrun answers:<\/strong><\/p> <p>\u201cIt\u2019s a vicious cycle; the more you wash your hair, the quicker it gets dirty because the scalp and sebaceous glands are weakened by frequent rubbing and detergents.\u201d<\/p>  <p><strong>Spacing out the number of times you wash your hair<\/strong><\/p> <p>- In addition to having a shampoo that rids of your scalp oils, get a milder one for frequent use.<\/p> <p>- Double-shampoo (using your regular shampoo for the first wash and the mild one for the next round) on Friday, and avoid washing your hair during the weekend, instead use a dry shampoo that removes grease. On Monday, wash with both shampoos again. Repeat on Wednesday and Friday, and take a break on weekends. Then little by little, space out the shampoo days to two washes a week on Mondays and Thursdays.<\/p>  <p><strong>His advice<\/strong><\/p> <p>- Change the look! Vary your hairstyles (ponytail, bun, etc\u2026) on the non-shampoo days.<\/p> <p>- Brush your hair in the morning and evening to remove dust.
