For many places in Asia, \u201cwinter\u201d is much less a winter, much more a wet and humid season. Here in Southeast Asia<\/a>, we are braced with hot months from December to March with almost daily showers<\/a>. If you're looking to escape somewhere with more favourable weather, take an under four-hour flight and find yourself in the beautiful landscapes of Colombo, Sri Lanka.<\/a><\/p>

With its average year-round temperatures of 28 degrees Celsius and in its driest season between January to April, Colombo is a direct flight away from the gateway to Sri Lanka, home to a range of activities and at its peak during these months.<\/p>

Sri Lanka maintains warm temperatures year-round, with two monsoon seasons: May to September are rainy in the West and Southwest, while October to February are rainy in the North, meaning there is always perfect weather to enjoy somewhere on this charming little island.<\/p>

Admittedly, the country is not always on the top of everybody\u2019s travel list, but is perfect for those who want to do everything.
