Perhaps we\u2019ve got Elsa to blame? Or perhaps it\u2019s just the season to go for a really light colour? Whatever the case, going blonde has clearly been a popular choice this year. From ash blonde to platinum blonde to strawberry blond, it seems as though the brunette look<\/a> has taken a backseat this season. Just look at Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kristen Stewart \u2013 they\u2019ve all sent us a clear message: it\u2019s time to go blonde.<\/p>

From blonde to blonder<\/span> <\/h2>

Actress Jennifer Lawrence took the first step in making her hair even more bright and light, swapping her golden blonde tresses to a cold platinum blonde that looks almost grey. Then singer Taylor Swift jumped straight onto the bandwagon, unveiling her new glossy blonde tones<\/a> during the Coachella Festival<\/a>.<\/p>

Say what you want, it is pretty obvious that the icy blonde trend that began in 2013 continues to grow even in 2016. And why do we love this hot trend? It breaks the classic \u201cordinary\u201d and conventional shades of blonde that we are familiar with.<\/p>
