If you scroll through\u00a0Instagram's search feed<\/a>, or walk along the KLCC and Bukit Bintang areas, you'll notice that Malaysians everywhere (even the most fashionable ones) are wearing the same type of clothing, sourced from international brands like H&M and Forever 21. Even\u00a0top luxury brands<\/a>\u00a0can't escape from the clutches of commonality, since their products are not only easily attainable, but also widely accepted as the norm. People who follow the usual fashion trends are likely to fall under this category.<\/p>

Although we follow international fashion styles as well, we think that true beauty lies in independent clothing labels that not everybody is familiar with. On top of\u00a0selling handcrafted designs<\/a>\u00a0that can't be found anywhere else, wearing clothes made by local brands are sure to turn heads, simply because they are so unique and appealing. In addition, doesn't it make you proud to be able to wear fashionable attire you know was created by our very own fellow Malaysians?<\/p>
