The #DGMillenials, a cast of bright-eyed famous\u00a0millennials with a huge social media following, include actress <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/fashion\/trends-and-tips\/best-dressed-fashion\/best-dressed-of-the-week-zendaya-in-lie-sangbong-spring-2015-112800.html\" target=\"_blank\">Zendaya<\/a>, model Thylane Blondeau and Youtube personality Cameron Dallas. It also features Rafferty Law, son of actor Jude Law and Presley Gerber, supermodel Cindy Crawford's son. Combined, they\u00a0have a total social media following surpassing 50 million.<\/p> <p>It is clear that D&amp;G is shifting its focus and demographic towards a new fashion generation. At the recent D&amp;G SS17 show during Milan Fashion Week, its front row was peppered with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/fashion\/latest-news\/insta-famous-10-chic-social-media-stars-follow-now-105939.html\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram stars<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/culture\/entertainment\/favourite-beauty-youtubers-199414.html#item=10\" target=\"_blank\">Youtubers<\/a>, children of celebrities, and more - all of whom have been dubbed\u00a0'The Millennial Generation\" by Dolce.\u00a0While <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariefranceasia.com\/fashion\/latest-news\/new-campaigns\/best-fall-2015-campaigns-115544.html\" target=\"_blank\">campaign<\/a>\u00a0castings are traditionally shrouded in secrecy and confidentiality, that is definitely not the case with this campaign. Social media is rife with excitement over the campaign, with the hashtag #DGMillenials trending on Instagram and pictures posted by the campaign stars receiving close to a million likes.<\/p> <p>Whether this buzz will translate to actual sales for the fashion house is still uncertain, considering its mostly a teenage demographic, but one thing is clear: D&amp;G might just have forged itself into the hearts and minds of its next wave of customers.
