But, while you're getting your work done or your fill of <a href=\"\/?p=209523\">entertainment<\/a>, <strong>your eyes are getting the short end of the stick<\/strong>.\u00a0Prolonged staring at digital screens can overexert\u00a0your eye muscles and reduce your blinking rate, which may lead to eyestrain and dry eyes. Don't be surprised if your next eyeglass prescription boasts of a worsened eyesight.<\/p> <p>The bottom line: our screens and our eyes just can't see eye to eye. And, even though we all know that it's\u00a0bad for us, we simply have no choice. After all, work is work, and someone's got to be putting bread on the table.<\/p> <p>So, what do we do when there's no way out? Well, we deal with it head-on. There are a myriad of habits we can adopt to be better caretakers of our eyes.
