International Women's Day,<\/strong><\/a> celebrated annually on 8 March, is a global event that celebrates the achievement of women - everything from the political, social to the cultural - while also calling for gender equality and women's rights.<\/a><\/p>

Around the world, IWD is commemorated with art performances, conferences, talks, marches and rallies. Though the latter doesn't apply to Singapore, there are still meaningful ways for you to celebrate the occasion.<\/p>
