Core Corsets: Create the illusion of the perfect waistline
mis à jour le 4 May 2019 à 02:33Like Lily James' waist from the Cinderella movie? Well, here how you can achieve just that (minus the dangerous dieting) with modern corsets.

Lily James' tiny corseted waist may be a subject of controversy, but we think that's much ado about nothing. Yes, she's in a corset but the illusion is essentially created with the massive amounts of tulle surrounding her hips.
Regardless of what you think of it, there are definitely enough adults who love the look enough to garner an increase in corset sales by at least 50 per cent.
Even the actress herself has spoken out about the claims calling them "irrelevant" and she claims to release the corset during meal times so she can digest properly. So don't fret if you're interested in wearing one because you won't be pulling a Keira Knightley in Pirates of the Caribbean.
If you want to attain that beautifully slim waist of the Victorian era without looking too costumey or medieval, there are many modern options available - including ones that you can wear as tops on a regular basis. These modern corsets quite often only have boning and any lacing in is far from extreme.
So get corseted and flaunt that hourglass figure with confidence!
