Beauty Q&A with Courteney Cox, the new face of Pantene
mis à jour le 4 May 2019 à 12:45At 49 years, Courteney Cox (Monica Geller in FRIENDS) today embodies Pantene Age Defying range. With her luscious locks, why not? Here's an interview between 'friends'!

Marie France Asia: How do you take care of your hair?
Courteney Cox: 'I like to keep a simple ritual. I wash my hair daily with Pantene Expert Age Defy and I always finish with the Advanced Thickening Treatment collection. I do not like to use a ton of products on my hair, so this collection is perfect for me. It really helped me fight the first signs of hair aging once I started the treatment. Now they my locks look younger, thicker and shiny. I do not need anything else.'
MF Asia: How do you notice the 'aging' effect on your hair?
C C: 'I just noticed that my hair became drier (including tips) and thinner ... and of course, I have a few gray hairs now, but hush!'
MF Asia: How do you normally wear your hair?
C C: 'I like wearing my hair down and simple. I love the natural movement and shine. Sometimes I use a seawater spray if I want a little less 'stiff' look. In fact, in general my look is a little 'loose'. And if not, I wear it in a ponytail.'
MF Asia: What do you think is essential in the hair maintenance routine?
C C: 'It is essential, in my opinion, to take as much care of your hair as your skin. I think people are realizing this more and more. Your hair is the first thing that you see, so it must be beautiful!'
MF Asia: What 'Pro' care would you dream of having?
C C: 'If I could have a hairdresser every morning ... I can do my makeup on my own but when it comes to hairdressing, I'm not an expert.'
MF Asia: What was your worst ever haircut?
C C: 'In 1984, when I played in the video for Bruce Springsteen.'
MF Asia: What was the worst hair nightmare you lived?
C C: I permed my hair when I was in high school ... and it was a very bad idea! My hair was quite damaged after this experience and the look was not 'me'. But you learn from your mistakes.'
MF Asia: What's your solution on a 'bad hair day'?
C C: 'Get back in the shower, and try again.'
MF Asia: What's the one hair advice you give to your daughter?
C C: 'I tell her to brush. She often has large knots so I have to convince her to do it properly. She is only nine years old and still has time to learn how to take care of her hair. She loves to pamper herself though so I think she will take good care of her hair later.'
