THE STABLES MARKET
It is located right next to the Cyberdog, so make a detour and head to the old royal stables where now lies a charming market. Stalls go on forever but there is nothing quite like it. Much more fun than Oxford Street.

Get the chef’s recommended onions rings, they are exquisite!

To death do us together
Tradition has it that girls, who had the guts, would visit a graveyeard at midnight on the Eve of V-Day and sing a certain chant while running around the church 12 times, just to conjure a vision of their future spouse. Girls back then must be really fit to run around 12 laps while singing.

CECIL STREET
A small street wedged between the bustle of Trafalgar and Leicester Squares. Filled with pubs, you'll easily find that beer you need. For burger lovers, head over to Byron. The open-concept kitchen and generous portions will delight gourmands.

Cyberdog is THE shop to visit in Camden. A supplier of clothing and accessories meant for rave parties (among others) contained in what seems like a huge futuristic box, it will entertain and surprise you with some pretty mindblowing items. LIBERTY
A cheerful bric-a-brac of clothing, furniture, creams and perfumes, all set in a stunning Tudor home. Established since 1875, the department store is worth a visit especially for tissues, including the famous liberty print fabrics. There are amazing bargains to be found during sales. PORTOBELLO MARKET
Take a pleasant stroll among the stalls of Portobello Road market on a sunny morning. Be smart and go early in the morning to avoid the crowds of tourists. That way you will be able to do some good shopping.

THE GLOBE: THE LAST THATCHED ROOF
The troupe of the famous playwright performed his pieces there before the fire of 1613. A cannon of the poorly calibrated theatre caused the burning of the thatched roof. The theatre was rebuilt in 1996; don’t hesitate to go for a play this summer, or at least get a drink at the bar. Completely eclectic, this museum contains many treasures, including everything from renaissance art from the West to the ancient sculptures from the East.
