1. Uzo Aduba tearfully accepts win

2. Orange is the New Black beats Modern Family
Uzo Aduba didn't wait long before making her return to the stage, this time with the rest of her co stars of Orange is the New Black. 3. Viola Davis
Another tearful acceptance speech was delivered when Viola Davis of How to Get Away With Murder snatched the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series. She thanked Shonda Rhimes and the rest of the team "for thinking this sexualised, messy, mysterious woman can be a 49 year-old dark-skinned African American woman who looks like me." 4. Emma Stone's 'gown' on the red carpet

5. Still Alice rocks SAG Awards
Julianne Moore rocked the stage when she won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor. She played a linguistics professor who developed Alzheimer's at an early age. Her performance also won her the Golden Globes for Best Actress this year. Photo: SIPA

6. Sofia Vergara adores Reese Witherspoon's butt
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara interview-bombs Reese Witherspoon by attempting to grab her bum. Reese laughingly replied, "There are so many things I wanna grab on her. I have to control myself." 7. Eddie Redmayne's rather unexpected win
While Michael Keaton of Birdman was truly anticipating to win the award for Outstanding Actor in a Lead Role, it turned out to be Eddie Redmayne's night. The charming Theory of Everything star played the genius Stephen Hawking who is also an ALS patient and dedicated his win to people suffering from the same disease.

8. The stylish duo: Lupita Nyong'o and Jared Leto
One of the few men's styles we look forward to see on red carpet is that of Jared Leto's. The singer's superb mane and facial hair is a - even while standing next to 12 Years A Slave beauty, Lupita Nyong'o. They presented the night's award for Male Actor In A TV Movie Or Mini Series - which went to Mark Ruffalo. Do you think Lupita and Jared would make a cute, stylish couple?Photo: @eonline Twitter

9. Debbie Reynolds wins Lifetime Award and Meryl Streep's reaction
Here we have 82 year-old Debbie Reynolds accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award, and brilliant actress Meryl Streep cheering her on. Debbie has been in the business for 66 years, can you believe that?! She accepted the prestigious accolade from her daughter Carrie Fisher and even made fun of her hair! Moms will be moms, but congratulations to the Singin' in the Rain star!

10. Emma Stone's gasp to Naomi Watts close fall
Birdman soared past The Imitation Game, The Grand Budapest Hotel and Boyhood as it nabbed the most coveted award of the night. But what stood out aside from the Best Cast Ensemble in a Movie win wasn't Zach Galifianaki's man bun or Naomi Watt's close fall, but Emma Stone's priceless reaction to Watts tripping over her dress! Red carpets, trophies, acceptance speeches and memorable wins — Hollywood sure knows how to honour the outstanding performances of our favourite stars.

We've seen some amazing films and television shows in 2014, and this time reserving the favourite spots at the 21st annual SAG Awards, are Orange is the New Black and Birdman. Meanwhile, Julianne Moore added to her Golden Globe win the SAG awards for Best Female Actor for her performance in Still Alice.

The crowd heard touching, tearful acceptance speeches and laughed to William H. Macy's jab, "To my fellow nominees...forget it, you lost," as he accepted the award for Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series.
