Stripped of all colour, let the richness of materials do the talking and be prepared to be mesmerised by Chanel's latest video!

Assimilating 007's style with comic book videography and dramatic saxophone tunes playing at the background, Karl Lagerfeld definitely knows how to build up suspense as we await the first glimpse of Chanel's Fall-Winter 2014/15 Pre-Collection.

Titled Private View, this short film was shot at the heart of Chanel in 31, Rue Cambon which made for the most perfect setting as the pre-collection was unveiled. Chandeliers and double C stamped floors - we highly doubt if there's anything else that could possibly have highlighted the relaxed modernity of the collection as well as the salons did.

If you're one for mixing materials in your ensemble, you'll be just as head over heels over this collection as we are. Be prepared to swoon over tweeds, knits, leathers and cashmeres and how they synchronised so harmoniously with jersey and silk crepe in a multitude of proposals.

Our only qualm? Wondering what could possibly make up the colour palette of this collection. Could it be really be drained of all colour and be made solely in black and white? Or perhaps intertwined with pastel hues as a sequel to one of SS14's hottest trends? We can only wait and see what the Kaiser has in store for us.
