Contouring 101: How to master it?
mis à jour le 3 May 2019 à 17:37Follow the advice of Estée Lauder's senior makeup artist, Patrick Lorentz, for a flawless, contoured face.

THE BASIC MATERIAL
Use a concealer or highlighter about two shades lighter. In the shadows, choose a powder two shades darker than your skin tone and use a medium sized brush to dab the base of the hairline.
CONTOURING, EXPRESS TECHNIQUES
Needless to study all the tutorials of contouring can be found on YouTube! Do you want to get Kim Kardashian's flawless contoured face? Patrick Lorentz has a few quick and easy techniques to replicate at home.
PLAY OF LIGHT
Use an illuminator pencil to mark your face, starting at the top of your eyebrow, then back down along the ridge of the nose to the cheekbone to draw
the first loop. Then come back at the nose and follow the nasolabial fold down to the jaw. Repeat on the other half of face.
A GAME OF SHADOWS
This time, using your makeup brush, draw an E in the other direction. Leave the temples, go around the cheekbone to the middle of the cheek and then do the loop along the jaw and up to the chin. To really highlight the cheekbones, apply powder under your bone and not over it. Blend the materials properly so that they blend into the skin. The idea is to be subtle and get a natural result.
THE PATRICK LORENTZ TRICK
Apply highlighter to the chin area then blend it with concealer to catch the light and give it a more pointed look.
