Sleeked back or tousled - perfect your look with these trendy hairstyles as we show you how to achieve the hottest Fall looks

Teased or sleek? Top hair trends as seen at the Marios Schwab and Carolina Herrera Fall/Winter 2013 shows.
It's not just the clothes, shoes and bags that catch our eye on the runways. Beauty and hair looks are sometimes even stealing the limelight as they are increasingly becoming an essential part of the look and not just an afterthought.
So after we brought you tips on how to copy this fall's runway trends - from clothes to shoes, nails and makeup - Now it’s time to take one last bash at remodeling our appearance and deciding on a few hairstyles to pair with our bang-on-trend outfit. And luckily for us, there are a lot to choose from.
Here are our top looks:
Ruffled Faux Morning-Hair
It is safe to say that tousled hair is in for Fall/Winter 2013. The just out-of-bed hair look is worn long, short and even bunched up in a ponytail.
Fair Haired Maiden:
Collect the hair in a bunch to show your naked shoulders or let it lay loose without tying it together when wearing a coat. Any hair texture is suitable for this, whether it is wavy or straight.
HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS LOOK: Slightly back-comb the upper half of the hair and use your hands to gently rearrange medium-sized strands of hair back down into a single low rise loose ponytail. Avoid brushing the hair back down in order to preserve the ruffled, casual look obtained by back-combing.
Shorter hair can be left loose and moulded into a messy bob with matte hair putty.
the naïve look:
Create a youthful and playful look that leaves the neck exposed and provides an innocent appearance.
HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS LOOK: Pick each strand of hair and collect it into a high pony tail. If the hair is fairly long, do not be afraid to circle and rearrange the strands asynchronously into a high bunch before letting them loose beyond the crown.
Once the hair is secured up high, use the pointy back of a comb to individually select a few random strands and pick them out of the hair tie.
As an alternative, the hair can be plaited in a wide, tousled cornrow to frame the higher edge of the nape. Different sizes of strands should be progressively added to the cornrow as the plaiting proceeds, thus creating an irregularly sized braid.
the voluptuous look:
For a classy, more 'womanly' look, volume is the keyword; volume and freedom!
The hair is slightly curled with wide curlers or curling iron. Volume is then created closer to the root of the hair and worked through to the lengths by breaking the curls both in front and behind the shoulders.
Sleek hair back
At the opposite side of the spectrum, F/W13 was filled with poised, collected and perfectly combed hairstyles.
the lady-like look:
The forehead and visage are left clear of any hair, bangs or fringe. There is very little volume, if at all, and it is controlled and restricted to a tight backwards curl that perfectly frames the face. This results in highlighting the triangle between the corner of the eyes, the cheekbones and the chin, thus greatly enhancing your features.
HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS LOOK: Straighten the hair using an appropriate method or hairstyling tools according to the curliness of your hair. Straight hair can then be blow-dried in place using a fixing product, such as hairspray, and a small diameter round brush.
Different effects can be achieved, according to the position of the parting line and the desired style.
