When selfies become dronies...

Selfie is the word on everyone's lips and you can find them on almost all Facebook walls! But be advised - something new is going to take the place of the selfie. Soon you might not even have to bother extending your arms to take a good old selfie! Because now, dronies - drones that capture snapshots from the sky - are here!
But that's not all, thanks to its high potential , not only is the dronie able to snap wonderful aerial pictures, but it is also able to capture short videos.
Last month Twitter got in on this new trend at the Cannes Lions festival in France by using drones to get Vine videos of employees with other gala celebrities and participants. Now, the trend is spreading on the Web. Do you need proof? Just go on Youtube, type the word "dronie" and you will be surprised by the relevant number of clips already shot using the flying camera.
When high-technology is combined with our human needs, it can often lead to incredible innovations! By the way, it's such a good way to snap memorable moments and to beautify our desire to be seen. So get ready to say good bye to selfies because soon you you'll only be seeing dronies of your friends on social networks instead.
