Why: Coq & Balls is proud to present Good Times: The Sunday Edition, a bimonthly event showcasing some of the best local artists and musicians.

This month, they’re featuring 3 artists/ acts from art and music label 29 Cornflakes: illustrator Kristal Melson, musician Nicholas Chim and poetry collective The Proletariat Poetry Factory.

Where: Singapore Council of Women's Organisations, Training Room 2, 96 Waterloo Street

Why: In Singapore, less than one quarter of women experiencing violence reported their most recent incident of abuse to the police. The hesitation to speak about violence stems from a number of myths and misconceptions. Join the session as social workers and survivors break the silence and share their experiences and narratives.

Why: The Embassy of Mexico puts together a selection of 12 Mexican films to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the independence of Singapore and the 40th anniversary of Mexico and Singapore bilateral relations, both events celebrated in 2015.

Will there ever be an end to things to do in Singapore? Well, when that day comes, this post will be creaking with emptiness but until that happens, we're back again with more parties, film screenings, pop up stores and artistic endeavours to fill your time.
