24h with Fitbit Ionic: Workout, pay & play

Kelly Tandiono and Alex put the new Fitbit Ionic to the test.

Kelly Tandiono isn’t just a model mentor, a pretty face and a great body. One of the judges for season 4 of Asia’s Next Top Model, the Indonesian actress also designs her own swimwear line and completes triathlons during her free time. So who better than the ever-active model to give the new Fitbit Ionic a try? We put the smartwatch on Kelly’s wrist and followed her around for a typical day around town: an early morning swim followed by grocery shopping at Cold Storage and a pit-stop to devour Mexican treats at Vatos Urban Tacos. Meanwhile, Alex starts the day with a workout and runs around town, stopping for some piping hot Din Tai Fung Xiao Long Bao and shopping at ToTT.

What’s not so typical is that Kelly and Alex don’t even need to carry a wallet: they pay on-the-go with their UOB Card on the Fitbit® Ionic. And the good news is that thanks to UOB Cards, you can also get your hands on the limited edition Fitbit wearables designed by L.A. street artist Tristan Eaton. Simply charge to your UOB Card from now till 31 Dec 2017 and you can redeem a Fitbit Charge 2 when you spend $3,800, or a Fitbit Ionic when you spend $7,800 Visit uob.com.sg/xmas for more details.

And although we can’t guarantee the smartwatch will give you Alex’s abs or Kelly’s determination, we’re pretty sure you’ll love paying for your ice coffee with a flick of the wrist, whether it’s after a run or just a lunch break.

Not to mention the Fitbit Ionic’s dynamic coaching features, onboard music, built-in GPS and heart-rate monitor. So if you haven’t started your Christmas shopping yet, now’s definitely a great time.
