The designer's 2013/14 IT bag gets an update for Fall/Winter...
Marc Jacobs has been putting forward some of the most coveted IT bags for years and this year is no different. For 2013/14, the designer has taken inspiration from the past and the result is timeless and classic glamour.
We love the vintage feel of the 1984 leather satchel (introduced in the Spring/Summer 13 collection) which gets updated with a muted colour palette for the fall/winter season.
However, the bag has nothing to do with the outré fashion sensibilities of the year it is named after. On the contrary, it looks much more understated and sophisticated. The 1984 also comes in a mini version and in shades of truffle, nautical blue and glossy black - perfect to complement our wardrobe for this season.
