Pleasantly diverse and inspiringly unpredictable, it's hard not to love Carrie Bradshaw's style. Who could forget the writer's head-turning tutu at the opening sequence of Sex and the City, or her Paris-perfect polkadot dress? As a shoe collector, one would think she has shoes for every occasion but the fashionista also has clothes for every occasion. Apparently every item has only been worn once, with the exception of a few things like the fur coat. Ms. Bradshaw can rock anything, from fanny packs to Manolo Blahniks and still look unequivocally fabulous.

Thanks to her role as Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker has become one of the prominent names to grace both the fashion and entertainment industries. For 6 seasons, SJP played the ultra stylish sex-columnist from New York, a fashion goddess whose wardrobe has women green with envy... But it didn't take too long until fans started realizing that SJP, off screen, is just as stylish and the closest we have to a real-life Carrie.The star has recently celebrated her golden age of 50, so we decided to create a gallery filled with some of our favourite SJP looks.

A New York-style ambassador

Truly a fashion-forward New Yorker, SJP never leaves home without her stilettos... until two years ago when her foot doctor advised her to stop wearing heels to stop feet deformation. Yikes! Beauty is pain.. but in SJP's case, it's worth the while.

Her performance in "Sex and the City", in heels and all, landed the actress four Golden Globe awards for Best Actress in a TV series (2000, 2001, 2002, 2004). SATC ended in the spring of 2004 and the adventures of Carrie Bradshaw and her friends culminated in two films, the first in 2008, the second in 2010. Since then, Sarah Jessica Parker has made a few appearances on the big screen but nothing as successful as her SATC gig. Fortunately, the star didn't make this an excuse to stop appearing her best at parties and on red carpet events! She's definitely 50 and fabulous.
