The biggest stars turned up in their fashion finery to celebrate Broadway's brightest at the 69th Tony Awards.

After the elaborate gowns at Cannes, Kendall Jenner is finally in something more age appropriate, though not any less chic if you ask us. The coral pink of this Calvin Klein sequinned mini dress suits her well and shows off her enviously long legs perfectly.

If there ever was a dress that captured the essence of summer, Elisabeth Moss's Oscar de la Renta gown would be it. The embellished florals and marigold ribbon neck line are enough to make anyone want to frolic in meadows of flowers. Her cascading golden hair and simple gold handcuff add to the summery vibes of the outfit.

Hilary Rhoda looks stunning in this red and black Michael Kors cut out dress which accentuates her slim figure beautifully. Who needs accessories when black nails and a bold lip will do?

Carey Mulligan keeps it simple yet bold in this Balenciaga number. She lets her glossy hair, perfect eyebrows and single gold bracelet do the talking for her.

On anyone else, this would've looked like curtain drapes, but on Joan Smalls, it looks simply stunning. The Givenchy gown wraps around her lithe figure beautifully and shows just the right amount of leg while still remaining tasteful.

Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez was a vision in her Valentino gown as she presented awards to the nominated winners. Departing from her usual sheer/skin tight outfits, J-Lo sizzles in a Valentino couture gown covered in a constellation of sequins. The bold lip and old Hollywood hairdo just completes the whole go big or go home look.

At every red carpet event there will always be a brave soul who shuns the traditional gown for something a little more unconventional. Ashley Tisdale takes the spotlight in this bold, Solace London pantsuit with a bandeau cropped top and wide legged pants. A simple gold choker and a slicked back hairdo completed the chic look to a tee.

The actress displayed her svelte figure in an off shoulder brocade black and gold Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress. With enough elaborate floral patterns on her gown, Amanda decided to keep it simple with everything else, wearing black pumps and smoky eyes to complete her outfit.

Dame Helen Mirren shows us how to dress our age and still look effortlessly chic in this embellished sheer sleeved gown which gives her an ethereal look. The strategically placed Fred Leighton jewels add even sparkle to her outfit.

Vanessa Hudgens
Yet another celebrity pulling off the floral look very well is Vanessa Hudgens. The actress looks like a breath of fresh air in this Naeem Khan number that is reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe's halter style white dress. Her gold clutch is a nice finishing touch to this vibrant, summery outfit.

The Great White Way looked more like a fashion runway as fashion boldfacers and celebrities like J-Lo, Amanda Seyfried and Kendall Jenner showed up to celebrate the best in Broadway at NYC's Radio City Music Hall for the 69th Tony Awards.

This year's edition came with an added dose of glamour as Anna Wintour, Vogue's editor-in-chief had a hand in dressing up most of the award attendees. As such, Broadway's brightest were seen in all-American fashion labels like Prabal Gurung, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs, with long flowing gowns, rich embroidery, bold colours and clean silhouettes being the dominant theme at the red carpet awards.

With Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenowith as hosts, and Jennifer Lopez looking a vision in her Valentino gown as she presented the awards, the evening certainly lived up to its glamorous promise. Navigate the gallery for our pick of the best dressed attendees of the event.
