    Circus Fling
Circus Fling keeps it simple and elegant — with a collection of clean-cut jewellery that boasts an appeal that lies in its simplicity. Start out with an introductory class on jewellery making, held by Naiise, where you get to create customised jewellery that is truly one-of-a-kind. Their workshops are often easily sold out, so keep your eyes peeled when a slot opens up and grab it quick!

Providing a carefully-curated selection of 100% handmade jewellery, Longue Vue is a brilliant place to buy yourself a signature piece, and their workshops will give you an inside look on the time and precision needed to complete their pieces. The Imperial Smithster
The Imperial Smithster provides a fun and exciting twist to jewellery making, specialising in workshops where they explore varying methods of crafting. If you are looking to produce metal castings, look no further than with them, where they will provide you with help from start to end. Keen on doing it yourself? ViVE Creations
If melting metals aren’t your cup of tea, try out ViVE Creation’s Bead Jewellery Making Workshop, where they teach beginner and intermediate classes to fit your expertise. While they do provide metalworking classes as well, we’re particularly fond of their bead classes, as not many places still conduct these classes. With a small class size to ensure you get the most bang for your buck, you know you’ll leave with bright smiles and pretty pieces.

    Fat Anvil Design
Fat Anvil is a silversmithing studio that provides a series of workshop to get you acquainted with this traditional form of jewellery making. The instructors are known for being incredibly patient, and you’ll get your own workspace so there’s no worry of rubbing elbows with your neighbours. Whether it is for your whole company, for you and your partner, or just for yourself to learn the basics of stone setting and silversmithing, Fat Anvil will not disappoint.

    Frills and Fancies
Since their opening in 2013, Frills and Fancies have been perpetually dedicated to creating high-quality jewellery that will delight. Get a lesson with the instructors, where you’ll learn how to create your jewellery depending on your courses (we are eyeing the Bird Nest Necklace workshop) from the very beginning. Under her patient tutelage and small class size (averaging 2), what’s not to like?

Jewellery Design and Management International School
If you are very interested in starting a jewellery line, the Jewellery Design and Management International School is definitely a good option for you to consider as well. Join the school to receive a diploma in one of their three courses: Fine Jewellery Arts, Precious Metal Arts, and Fashion Jewellery Arts. They also provide Advanced Diploma courses if you’re interested in pursuing higher education, or go for one of their workshops instead!

    Beacon International College
For part-time classes on jewellery making, Beacon International College would be your best bet. Get coached by Michael Koh, the winner of the ASEAN Jewellery Design Competition 2015, and learn how to make jewellery from the very first step to the last. No matter if your interest lies in traditional or contemporary jewellery, this class would ensure you get sufficient knowledge to be a professional in the field.

    Beadtle Sweet
The name might ring familiar, seeing as they had a pretty popular bead shop in Plaza Singapura for a while. Since then, they have moved to Jurong Gateway. But, no matter where they are located, one thing is clear: they love jewellery, and they are more than excited to guide younglings along the way. Their upcoming workshops are for soutache earrings and fashion jewellery classes, so keep a lookout on their Facebook page to be updated.

    It Takes Balls
Okay, yes, we’ve covered working with metals and beads. Let’s kick things out of our comfort zone with knitted jewellery instead. At It Takes Balls, be pampered with their selection of knitted products that will certainly keep you warm, or head down to one of their workshops to understand how to make your own. Join their Statement Necklace workshop and leave with two necklaces to call your own.

To complete that perfect look, nothing helps tie the outfit together like accessories that complement it. So, you look through your jewellery collection, hoping to find that one piece that will totally highlight that shade of millennial pink you got on. Then, you begin to realise something: you don't have the exact piece you are looking for. Something delicate but not too dainty, something pretty but not too ostentatious. Sure, trying to find what you’re looking for in shops sounds like fun, but here’s another option: jewellery making classes and workshops.

Singapore is currently filled with series of workshops happening every weekend, and it is no surprise that jewellery making classes have been on the rise too. No matter if you’re looking for a delicate signature piece, or a starter to kickstart your jewellery line, there’s a class and workshop for everyone. So, scroll back up and check out our gallery of 10 classes that you can engage in to get the bespoke piece of jewellery you've always dreamed of!
