A Barbie version of Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld? yes please!
In July, Mattel announced its partnership with Lagerfeld for an exclusive new doll - and now, we have the first photos.
The collector's item - dressed and styled by the Kaiser himself of course - will make her official red carpet debut at Paris Fashion Week on September 29. The serious-looking fashionista sports Lagerfeld's signature uniform - a black and white suit, trendy finger gloves, aviator sunglasses and the classic white ponytail.
As expected, mini Karl won't be easy to get a hold of, and you'll have to be quick. The Barbie dolls will be produced in an exclusive 999 batch, and will only be sold at Karl Lagerfeld boutiques, Net-a-Porter and www.barbiecollector.com. Each doll will be priced at around USD200.
We're just hoping the limited edition Barbie comes with a tiny choupette - how cute!
