Cocktail of the month: Borgarnes Star

Part of the upcoming National Day celebrations in Singapore will definitely include a line up of parties – and with parties come drinks. Instead of the usual beer or whisky option, create your very own refreshing drink that has just the right amount of Singaporean flavour.

Now it’s time to kick back, invite a few friends over and enjoy the revelry with the nation this weekend!

Borgarnes Star

Ingredients:

45ml Reyka Vodka

15ml Green Chartreuse

20ml Simple Syrup

20ml Lemon Juice

5 Basil Leaves

1 inch of Capsicum/Red Pepper

½ a starfruit

Method:

Muddle starfruit and capsicum in a mixing glass. Add all liquid ingredients and shake well with basil leaves. Double Strain over crushed ice into a highball. Garnish with a Basil leaf and a slice of star fruit.
