Late Night Texting 2017

Why: Rejoice - Late-Night Texting 2017 is back! This year's line-up features over 30 performances by seven groups, ranging from short plays to poetry, and improv comedy to storytelling. All the performances are free and admission is on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to head down early! You can look forward to works by up-and-coming playwrights, receive customised, typewritten poems and even listen to hair-raising true stories of the supernatural kind.

Jazz By The Beach @ Coastes

Why: We don't know about you, but the idea of jazz-filled nights by the beach sounds like the perfect way to end the week on a great note (no pun intended). Every Friday evening in August, Coastes hosts their Jazz By The Beach special, featuring a stellar line-up of Singapore's jazz talent. This Friday, 25 August, make a date with your girlfriends or special someone and swing into the weekend to the music by Rob Collins & The Jukebox Quartet. We can guarantee it won't disappoint.

Why: If you love Indian cuisine, or simply want to pick up a new skill this weekend, we strongly recommend this cooking class! Namita will be teaching recipes a few recipes per session from her cookbook, while introducing students to the key spices used in Indian cooking in the 3-hour class. The menus can be adjusted to suit your dietary needs - whether you're vegetarian, have allergies or food sensitivities.

Plant Terrarium Workshop

Wine Yoga & Citylights
