mis à jour le 4 May 2019 à 07:04Our picks from days 4 through 6 of Paris Fashion Week - with Dior, Celine, Jean Paul Gaultier, Martin Grant and Chloe.

DIOR
Imagine a tent of mirrors in the courtyard of the Louvre where the facade of the museum itself was infinitely reflected - time definitely went into a standstill in this futuristic 18th century universe where the Dior SS15 show took place. The outfits presented made us travel through time. The show was quite the delight as it featured a combination of white dresses, long jackets worn over bermuda shorts and smart, tailored dresses - we could sum up the collection as scientific chic uniform. Raf Simons presented us his vision of the modern woman who is a tad futuristic yet still practical - a breath of fresh air if you ask us.
ISABEL MARANT
Staying true to herself and her well-known 'nonchalant' attitude, Isabel Marant was inspired by Catalonia and its tribes for next summer's collection. Taking inspiration from kilts and reinterpreting them with different materials on skirts and belts, she combined the look with jackets and neatly constructed pieces. As for the silhouettes, there were a lot of nipped in waists, complemented with details such as cotton fringing that was rather artisanal. Ultimately, the collection was young, charming and sophisticated and decidedly more feminine than ever before.

JEAN PAUL GAULTIER, the key highlight of Paris Fashion Week
Being on the stage of ready-to-wear for one last time is worth celebrating. Hence true to his extravagance, the show was a spectacular set up at the Grand Rex cinema where it all begins with a camera crew chasing down Gaultier's love, French icon of beauty, Catherine Deneuve. Thereafter, a special pageant, Miss Jean Paul Gaultier was staged where the designer's most famous works from his 38-year career was featured - from corsets, smocks, leather jackets and tutus.

CELINE
Ignore long pants, Phoebe Philo has clearly given the skirt the spotlight for next summer. Cut out tops, coats and jackets with panels that swayed with each step were accompanied with billowy dresses and more structured pieces as well. The finale string of floral prints and bright splashes of color were a welcomed delight in the otherwise entirely black and navy blue colour palette.
MARTIN GRANT
Martin Grant introduced a selection of incredibly sexy and slender silhouettes in which women would irrevocable sublime in, especially in the dressy jumpsuits. From plunging necklines, to nipped in waists, glittering colours and even polka dots, the Martin Grant woman is a little of a femme fatale that knows when to let loose.
CHLOE
Following the death of the brand's founder, Gaby Aghion, Clare Waight Keller paid homage by way of this particularly true-to-the-DNA Chloé collection. Clearly, the 70s stays strong as we see short dresses, romantic silhouettes and folksy inspirations dominating the collection. There were blouses with puffed sleeves, tops in a Saharan suede, gladiator sandals and denim skirts - this is one hippie-boho collection that was downright practical and fun.
