The Book Sandwich Cafe
While it looks much like a hole-in-the-wall cafe from the outside, The Book Sandwich Cafe exudes a very charming casual restaurant vibe on the inside, offering customers a fairly extensive menu of delectable dishes. But don’t worry coffee lovers, they serve a good cuppa here as well, freshly brewed with love and attention to detail. Taking up residence in a corner shophouse at the junction of a street, it’s impossible to miss Gala House, with its mini palm trees and retro signage. You can either sit indoors or out - so if you’re here for a quick drink, we recommend a seat by the bar that looks out towards the street. The open concept makes for a very laid-back ambience - you won’t mind relaxing by the street until sundown.

Fall in love with their lip-smacking salted caramel latte, and their eclectic interior decor! With a unique chalkboard wall filled with fun scribbles and drawings, and accents of red to highlight certain elements in the cafe, this is truly an Instagram-worthy spot to have your cup of joe. We love the hints of greenery and the red staircase! Definitely a place worth telling your friends about!
