The VFF fashion doesn't stop taking our breaths away as more international stars take on the red carpet with poise in the most luxurious of gowns.

Tülin Özen
Turkish actress Tülin Özen graces the Frenzy premiere wearing a simple yet breathtaking outfit that puts all the other over-the-top gowns to shame. The delicate lace camisole shows off her flawless collarbone without much effort, and the streamlined skirt hugs her curves in all the right places. The thigh-skimming side slit also shows off her legs and is just calling for a true Angelina Jolie red carpet moment.

Lidiya Liberman
The Italian influences are strong in this bustier gown and it's exactly why we love it. The pale peach hue isn't a common shade for a red carpet gown, but against her fair skin and paired with an oxblood lip colour, it shows the actress has had this whole ensemble all figured out and down to a T.

Roberta Mattei
Florals are definitely a favourite for VFF for we've seen the trend on various other personalities on the red carpet since the festival began. This white and blue metallic one adds a fresh perspective on the easily crowded-looking florals, and we're especially blown away by that incredible neckline and cinched waist.

Gaia Bermani Amaral
Gaia Bermani shows us how to dress like a modern romantic in this Luisa Beccaria (quite frankly the Italian equivalent to Elie Saab, if you ask us) pastel violet midi dress. The extra layers on the skirt portion add flounce for beautiful movement with every step, and we're dying to get our hands on a similar piece for our next date!

Alba Rohrwacher
Wearing a hue fit for the Blood Of My Blood film title, Alba Rohrwacher stuns in this belted chiffon dress. The squared-off shoulders add structure to the feminine gown. Our favourite feature has to be that subtle turtleneck collar.

Silvia D'Amico
Blinging up the red carpet, Silvia D'Amico stuns in a slinky embellished gown. Call us out for having a penchant for admiring unvonventional body parts, but we think her shoulders look impeccable in this.

Cristiana Capotondi
It's difficult to pull off a white dress without the, "Are you getting married?" questions getting thrown your way, but Cristiana Capotondi manages to strike a balance by wearing the pure colour in satin with embellishments along the straps. The key here is a refined silhouette for optimum elegance instead of looking OTT.

We continue with coverage of the fashion aspect of the past few days at the 72nd Venice Film Festival, where films like Frenzy, Rabin, The Last Day and Blood of My Blood have premiered.

Back to more refined looks, the VFF's red carpet outfits on days 5 to 7 were a play on the idea of modern elegance. Glamour doesn't always float everyone's boats, but if there's one theme every female star would go for, it's the fresh take on femininity.

Actresses went forward with fabrics like lace, chiffon and satin, and didn't hold back on appliques and bling (everyone loves a little Swarovski!).
