Atelier Swarovski: A look at Autumn/ Winter 2015 designer collaborations

The crystal house collaborations with jewellery designers Philippe Ferrandis and Shaune Leane, resulted in eye-catching, stylish jewellery pieces that are perfect for casual outings and formal occasions.
Nobody does a crystal collection quite like Swarovski. Synonymous with glitz and grandeur, the crystal house sure knows how to compete for our affection in the arena of diamonds, gold and precious stones.
Over the years, the Austrian brand has teamed up with a long list of creative minds like Zaha Hadid and Christopher Kane to come up with collaborative designs that fit in perfectly with the Swarovski brand. With 60 creative tie ups to date, Atelier Swarovski now adds collaborations with French jewellery designer, Philippe Ferrandis and British jewellery house, Shaun Leane to the Autumn/ Winter 2015 collection.
French jeweller Phillipe Ferrandis takes Swarovski’s crystals to the fore with his Manhattan collection, inspired no doubt by the skyline and bold style of New York City. The line has 9 designs and comes in two different colours. Tonal Crystal is designed to reflect the classic allure of the city’s Upper East Side in shades of sparkling champagne, smoky and neutral colours. The second colour, Multicolour Crystal brings to mind the bright lights of the Big Apple with purple, green and blue tones taking centre stage.
Moving on, in a collaboration just as anticipated, we’ve got Shaun Leane’s Swift collection. The jewellery designer whose sleek modern designs have been spotted on the likes of Kate Moss and Sarah Jessica Parker released a 9 piece range worthy of marvel. Taking inspiration from the crescent silhouette and quicksilver movements of the high-flying bird, the stars of the collection are definitely the rings with their striking wings and swirling curls.
Exquisite and unique, the pieces are highly wearable and make for the perfect accessory to any outfit. For a power lunch or cocktail event, you need not look further than Swarovski Atelier’s latest AW 2015 offerings.
The Atelier Swarovski Autumn/ Winter 2015 collections will be available in selected Swarovski stores and independent retailers worldwide from September 2015.
