Voilah! French Festival 2015: 5 Highlights to catch at the event
mis à jour le 4 May 2019 à 01:10After a two year hiatus, the largest foreign cultural festival in Singapore returns with its biggest edition yet, celebrating 50 years with our island state.

Ooh la la, it's time again to let your inner Frenchie out - not like we don't get to do that on a daily basis with our French colleagues. Back for yet another edition, Voilah! French Festival Singapore is turning up the celebratory tune in commemoration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations. So with the added impetus, along with Singapore's very own jubilee year celebration, you can most definitely expect this year's festival to be the biggest one yet, filled with a huge dose of French-meet-Singapore flair.
Organised by the French Embassy and the Institut Francais Singapour, together with the French Chamber of Commerce, Voilah! aims to promote French culture, art, cuisine and environmental issues in our little red dot. While the last edition was back in 2012, it appears that the festival may soon become a yearly affair once again as well - after all it is one of the biggest foreign cultural festivals here.
So put on your best French accent and seek out the sheer innovation, beauty and artistry that France boasts of and the world knows of. And if you're not entirely sure how to maneuver your way around the festival, we've rounded up 5 segments not to miss - we have everything from gastronomy to art, theatre and film.
Voilah! French Festival Singapore runs till Sunday, 21 June. For more information visit http://www.voilah.sg/
