This season, ditch the darker colours for a breath of fresh air in sweet, dreamy shades.

What better way to usher in spring than imagine coating your tips with creamy nudes, saturated neons and zesty oranges? To combat the dreary workday or the mood swings the weather has given us lately, we gathered the most gorgeous nail shades that you ought to be flaunting very soon.

This season, we move away from the dark burgundys and vampy shades of Fall into softer, mellowed down hues that will add a bounce to your step. Nail colours tend to do that to even the most grounded of person, so be warned.

It’s most definitely time to get your fingers riled up because they’re in for a rather springy ride!

Whites

This non-shade is dominating on our wardrobes in more ways than one. From shoes to whole outfits and now to nails – white has found its way to our hearts. Don’t be fooled by its calming nature though, the multitude of finishes mean there is no one white. Pick from opaque to semi sheer or one with shimmer, there is no doubt one to flatter your skin tone.

Pastels

Anything from dusty greens to soft yellows and pale corals, pastels are a big hit on nails this season. To shake things up, opt for a manicure that makes use of two complementary (or contrasting) pastels. Seafoam green with pale yellows anyone?

Neutrals

Other than the typically safe taupe and minks, experiment with a light grey, lavenders and beige. This would also be the apt solution for minimalists to stay understated but yet dressed up.

Lego Brights

On the runways of Burberry, Prabal Gurung and Peter Som were vibrant shades of yellow, green and blue. Though neons will continue to be a mainstay for summer, they do not suit every pair of hands. Instead go with primary colours for a safe bet on lust worthy nails.
