Why: An outdoor party set against the new shows premiered by Gillman Barracks’ 17 international galleries, the Centre for Contemporary Art, Singapore and latest addition Platform Projects provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the enclave’s diverse art offerings.
Apart from the shows, there will also be artist talks, site-specific performance art, docent led tours, a chance to explore CCA’s artist residency studios, live music and food & drink pop-ups.

What: CHOPPA Experimental Music Festival

Where: Lasalle College of the Arts, 1 McNally Street
Why: Since 2007, this has been Singapore’s longest running experimental music institution showcasing local and international experimental music, keeping the underground alive and healthy in sultry Singapore. The CHOPPA Experimental Music Festival was held in 2008 and 2010, featuring musicians from Asia, Australia, Europe and the US.
